The Connemara Pony is an Irish breed, also known as “Capaillin Chonamara”. It is said that the Connemara pony is one of Ireland's gifts to the world. They are known to have fantastic temperament, extremely intelligent and very trainable. Their breed makes excellent show ponies.

The Connemara pony is one of the larger pony breeds and their height is usually 128 to 148 cm. They generally mature at about 5 years of age and come in a wide variety of colours but are mostly grey and dun.
